Nada Yoga & Yoga Nidra

  • Le Centre Avenue Albert Giraudlaan 96 Schaarbeek, Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest, 1030 Belgium (map)

A workshop with Isabel Dominguez Garces and Eknath Erwin Vann

Nada Yoga is the Yoga of Divine Vibration, also called the Yoga of Sound. Everything is in a state of vibration and complies with the laws of rhythm and harmony. A Nada Yogi uses Divine music to move from the gross vibrations to the subtlest state. This is a powerful process of purification and refinement on all levels.

Yoga Nidra is more than relaxation. It consists in letting the body sleep, while consciousness remains active and receptive to the guiding voice. The practice of Yoga Nidra is a great tool to relieve stress and re-educate the nervous system through positive affirmations (sankalpa) and listening to the sensations within the body.

The workshop starts with an introduction explaining the benefits of Nada Yoga and Yoga Nidra, and continues with lots of practice - breath control, voice projection, tuning, toning, rhythm, vocal exercises to balance the chakras, and chanting Sanskrit and English mantras accompanied by the harmonium. 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra ends this session.

Everybody welcome! No previous experience necessary.

Price: 45€
