Sampoorna Yoga (lineage of Swami Sivananda) - a traditional energising style of yoga suitable for all levels. The class includes breathing exercises, warming-up and strengthening exercises, yoga postures, and deep final relaxation.

This class starts out with a relaxation in Savasana/Corpse Pose, including guided breath awareness. We continue with some exercises to release tension in the neck and shoulders, then we work our way up into Tadasana/Mountain Pose. We continue with a series of 8 Sun Salutations/Surya Namaskar to warm up the body. Followed by Triangle and Warrior variations, Dolphins, core strengthening exercises, Shoulderstand, Half Plough and Full Plough, Fish, Forward Bends, back strengthening exercises, Bow, Deer, Seated Spinal Twist, Squat, Downward Facing Dog, and finally again Tadasana/Mountain Pose, before lying down in Savasana for the final relaxation.
