Sampoorna Yoga (lineage of Swami Sivananda) - a traditional energising style of yoga suitable for all levels. The class includes breathing exercises, warming-up and strengthening exercises, yoga postures, and deep final relaxation.

This class starts out with a relaxation in Savasana/Corpse Pose or a seated position, your choice. We continue with some exercises to release tension in the neck and shoulders, then Inclined Plane, Cat & Cow, Frog, and Downward Facing Dog, to work our way up into Tadasana/Mountain Pose. We continue with a series of 4 Sun Salutations/Surya Namaskar to warm up the body, and 2 series of Sun Salutation Variations. Followed by Warrior variations, Toes & Ankle Stretch, Baby Push-Ups, Happy Baby Pose, core strengthening exercises, Supine Twist, Shoulderstand, Half Plough and Full Plough, Butterfly, Seated Forward Bend, ankle rotations, Cradle, back strengthening exercises (incl.Half Bow), Deer, Seated Spinal Twist, Squat, One-Leg Balancing exercises, before lying down in Savasana for the final relaxation.
