A traditional energizing style of yoga suitable for all levels. This class starts out with a relaxation exercise (breath awareness) in Savasana or a seated pose, your choice. We continue with Cat & Cow, Frog, Seal, and Downward Facing Dog, and work our way up to Tadasana/Mountain Pose via a standing forward bend. Then, standing, some exercises to release tension in the neck, shoulders, hands, and wrists.
6 rounds of Sun Salutations/Surya Namaskar to warm up the body, and 2 more rounds with variations (including Triangle, Nose to Knee, and Side Plank). Then Warrior and variations, Dolphins, and core exercises (legs up, hands to feet). Followed by Spinal Twist, Shoulderstand, Half Plough and Full Plough, Butterfly, Seated Forward Bends, Cradle, back strengthening exercises, Camel, Toe balancing exercise with a spinal twist, Triangle with Side stretch. We finish with a final relaxation.
