Yin Yoga is a great complement to a more dynamic Hatha Yoga practice. This slow-moving, deep stretching and meditative class targets the connective tissue (fascia) of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, to improve energy circulation.
This is a recording of a previously live-streamed class.
The session starts with some warming up exercises (awareness of breath, Cat & Cow, Downward Facing Dog, ...), followed by longer held postures - Caterpillar, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Half Saddle, Sphinx/Seal, Toe and Foot Stretch. We end this session sitting in a pose of your choice. Poses are held for 2 to 5 minutes. All levels are welcome.
