Yin Yoga For All (6)

Yin Yoga is a great complement to a more dynamic Hatha Yoga practice. This slow-moving, deep stretching and meditative class targets the connective tissue (fascia) of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, to improve energy circulation.

This is a recording of a previously live-streamed class.

The session starts out seated, watching the breath, and focusses on some deeper stretches of the neck, upper back, and shoulders (Eagle Hands). Then Seated Forward Bend, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Standing Forward Bend, Sphinx/Seal, Child's Pose, Cat Pulling Its Tail (L/R), Child's Pose, Happy Baby Pose, and Savasana.

Poses are held for 2 to 5 minutes. All levels are welcome.
